From Almelo we combine international trade with technical knowledge and practical support. Not only during purchase or sale, but also with everything that needs to be arranged afterwards.
Godfried Heinhuis laid the foundation for our family business. In the nineties the trade in trucks and accessories began. The range steadily broadened: construction machines, semi-trailers and other types of heavy equipment were added. In this way Heinhuis developed into a versatile trading company for transport and construction.
An important step followed in 2017 with the purchase of the business complex at Darwin 16 on the XL Business Park in Almelo. The spacious location provided room for the further development of our company and still serves as our home base today.
Behind every vehicle there is more than a price tag. The technical condition, the required documents and the transport are just as important. That is why our service goes beyond simply bringing supply and demand together.
With our own workshop, mechanics and drivers we have a lot of knowledge and capabilities in-house. We carry out technical inspections, valuations and repairs and manage export documentation and transport. This allows us to coordinate different parts of the process without you having to engage a different party each time.
Our trade crosses borders, but we prefer to keep contact direct. Whether you want to sell a single vehicle, are looking for a specific machine, or need support with export: we discuss what you need and which services we can provide. Our experience with international buying and selling helps with that, from the initial inquiry to the final transport.
Our location is also continuing to develop. In 2025 work began on an expansion of the business premises in Almelo. Additional space that provides more capacity for our activities and the further development of Heinhuis. This gives the next step of our international trading company shape again in Almelo.
With the third generation in the company, our family history also continues. Our ambition is to keep growing, while maintaining personal contact and commitment to our work. Building on what is already there, with an eye to what will be possible tomorrow.
